Why Savers are Losers

Inflation is baked into the system. I recently came across this infographic from the BSP which I find to be refreshingly candid. 

In this infographic, it's clear as day that inflation will never be zero and that your labor today will never be compensated fairly in the future.

By default, savers are losers. When you receive your paycheck today and put it in the bank, it is guaranteed to lose value as time goes by. 

If you had the power to go back in time and you told your teenage self that you will be working for money that if you do not spend in the immediate future will no longer be able to buy the same amount of goods and services, what would your teenage self think? 

Wouldn't your teenage self think that that is a great injustice? Inflation is theft and an invisible tax imposed on everyone!

Inflation has nothing to do with who the president is and whether the president is good or bad. Inflation is baked into the cake!

People are like ants inside a bottle being shaken and not knowing who is shaking the bottle, they decide to turn on each other.
