By maximizing existing infrastructure rather than building separate, duplicating networks, the operators aim to accelerate digital inclusion across the archipelago while deploying capital more efficiently.
"Connecting the country is a responsibility that we all share as Philippine telcos," PLDT Chairman and CEO Manuel Pangilinan said in a statement. "This agreement reflects that, even as we compete in the marketplace, we can collaborate where it matters the most."
When it comes to advancing the cashless agenda, rival corporations will cooperate with one another because they will all benefit from it.
Just like rival politicians, they will put away their differences and even put on a show just to advance certain agendas that benefit them. In contrast, the masses continue to fall for every manipulative trick in their playbook to control them.
