Merced Bakehouse

The building where I used to work in was located along quezon avenue. Although, I passed by the Merced bakehouse almost everyday because I took the bus everyday from Sm North, I never once tried out their products. 

My friend said she saw a tiktok video claiming that the cake at Merced was good so she wanted to try it out.

Upon arrival, I immediately noticed that the interiors looked like they were from the 90s. Even the closing time was too early at 5PM, reminiscent of the days when stores opened early and closed before sunset.

Unfortunately, their baked goods did not really live up to the hype although the prices were pretty low. Oh well, you get what you pay for.

My friend was not able to buy their cake because it turns out that they were not being sold per slice and could only be bought whole.
