14 Call Center Interview Questions & Answers

Image
The call center industry is one of the fastest growing in the country these days. As recently as ten years ago, there were only a few call center agents and the word call center was hardly ever used in the country. Today, almost every family has at least one member working in the call center industry. The reason for this boom is partly economics. In the Philippines, low paying jobs are very notorious and while call centers set up shop here because of the low labor costs, Filipinos decide to work for the call center industry because it pays higher than average wages. Consider this: if you are an average worker with an entry level position, you probably are getting paid seven to ten thousand a month; meanwhile, an average employee in the call center industry with an entry level position will get around fifteen thousand pesos a month, plus free dental and health benefits (HMO). Call centers also will pay your SSS (Social Security), PAGIBIG (home building fund), and PhilHealth (health ins

Assunta de Rossi Bares All

Image
In an interview with Korina Sanchez that aired on Net 25 last May 19, 2024, Alessandra de Rossi becomes the first showbiz personality from the Philippines who admitted that she was injured by the medical interventions administered to a large part of the global population recently. Surprisingly, she acted like the proverbial battered wife defending her abusive husband during the interview.  Was she self-censoring or was she embarrassed? Ms. De Rossi seemed hesitant to talk about the event opting to whisper about it at first.  In fact, she did not want to attribute what she went through to the "interventions", choosing to believe that she "had it all along" and that the "interventions" merely triggered it. Will more famous people come out as having been injured by these medical interventions after this interview? Perhaps, these celebrities will want to use their fame to spread awareness about the evil that had transpired globally? We shall see. Results from

Out of the Box Call Center Interview Questions And How To Answer Them

Image
Regarding out of the box call center interview questions in call center companies, you really have to use your imagination. Remember, there are no right or wrong answers when it comes to these interview questions. A common out of the box call center interview question is how to describe colors to blind people. You may answer that you will ask the blind person to imagine something that represents that color (for example war for the color red or peace for the color white). Another example of an out of the box call center interview question is how to sell boats in a desert or ice to an Eskimo. So how does one sell ice to an Eskimo? Try making ice candy. And how does one sell boats in a desert? Maybe, you can say that it's a boat that runs both on water and sand. As you can see, it's pretty much a battle of wits, and again, there really are no right or wrong answers when it comes to out of the box call center interview questions. Visiting my Grandmother's Hometown

Image
When I was a kid, I heard a rumor that my paternal grandmother was from Ermita in Manila. Like most kids, I couldn't comprehend a time when my grandmother was not the person who I met as a child.  It wasn't until a relative sent me her marriage contract that I was able to confirm this rumor to be true. The marriage contract said that she was married at Ermita Church which did not make any sense to me. I asked my father if she met my grandfather in Manila but my father replied that they met in Zamboanga. He explained that it was tradition for people to get married in the bride's hometown. I also learned recently that the name Guia (which is my grandmother's name) is the equivalent of the name Pilar in Zamboanga city. A lot of women from Ermita are named after the Nuestra Señora de Guia.  A few weeks ago, I invited a friend to visit a stamp exhibition at the Robinson's Mall in Ermita.  On the way to the restaurant on UN avenue where we were going to have lunch, I saw

Celebrating International Museum Day at Yuchengco Museum

Image
It's that time of year when admission to museums is free. Yes, it's international museum day once again! This year, I decided to visit a museum that I have heard of and passed by maybe hundreds of times already since it is located in the same building as the company I used to work for.  Located inside RCBC Plaza, the Yuchengco museum features mostly memorabilia related to the company and its owners. They also have some Rizal memorabilia and art related to the national hero since the founder was a Knights of Rizal member. The Yuchengco Museum also houses two Juan Luna paintings. There is an entire section of the museum dedicated to Jose Rizal memorabilia which belong to the descendants of Leonor Rivera. I had the pleasure of viewing the entire collection right in Leonor Rivera's ancestral house back when I visited a friend in Camiling, Tarlac several years ago. I even got to meet Leonor Rivera's ancestors! It's nice to see that this collection is finally in a museum.

Most of us have that underperforming investment that we have had for so many years already but can't seem to let go of. Well, here is a list of top performing UITFs and hopefully this list will help you in making that hard decision of letting go of investments that are no longer working for you. Baram Premium Buffet Restaurant Review

Image
After the pandemic, eating out has become very frustrating. It seems like restaurant food prices keep on going up while the quality worsens as time goes by. A few days ago, I invited a friend to visit a travelling stamp exhibit with me at the Robinson's mall in Ermita. While I was searching for an all-you-can-eat buffet in that area, I came across a new restaurant called Baram Premium Buffet. Since its location was just a kilometer away from Robinson's Place, we decided to have lunch there. Baram Premium Buffet opened just a week ago so they are currently on a promotion. Their buffet only costs 459 pesos for lunch and dinner. I'm not sure how long these promotional rates can last but I found the buffet quite good for the price. Almost all of the dishes on the buffet table were quite good. What stood out for me was the roasted chicken which was excellent!  What made Baram Premium Buffet stand out was the korean pork barbecue which they cook for you on demand.  Here are some
