The Little Prince in Different Philippine Languages
The Little Prince is one of those books which has a different meaning for different people depending on which stage of their life they find themselves in. It's almost like the bible which can be interpreted in several different ways.
The Little Prince is a book about relationships and how to think like a child. It also has some references to spirituality especially towards the end of the book.
While it has the distinction of being the second most translated book after the bible, surprisingly it still hasn't been translated to many Philippine languages. Currently, The Little Prince is only available in Tagalog (Filipino), Bikol and Chavacano. The Philippines has eight major languages so we still have a long way to go. 😙
