14 Call Center Interview Questions & Answers

Image
The call center industry is one of the fastest growing in the country these days. As recently as ten years ago, there were only a few call center agents and the word call center was hardly ever used in the country. Today, almost every family has at least one member working in the call center industry. The reason for this boom is partly economics. In the Philippines, low paying jobs are very notorious and while call centers set up shop here because of the low labor costs, Filipinos decide to work for the call center industry because it pays higher than average wages. Consider this: if you are an average worker with an entry level position, you probably are getting paid seven to ten thousand a month; meanwhile, an average employee in the call center industry with an entry level position will get around fifteen thousand pesos a month, plus free dental and health benefits (HMO). Call centers also will pay your SSS (Social Security), PAGIBIG (home building fund), and PhilHealth (health ins

La Fiesta Largest Filipino Buffet Review

Image
It was my mom's last week in the city and we decided to make reservations at La Fiesta: Largest Filipino Buffet in SM Mall of Asia. When we arrived, they said our name was not on the list but that we could walk-in as we were there at 11am when the lunch buffet began. They had a good variety of seafood dishes, desserts, Filipino food like Lechon, street foods, soups, Sushi, and salads. Most of the dishes on the buffet table was pretty average. It is 2022 and things seem to be getting back to (new) normal. One of the things that I missed doing from the old days was eating in a buffet restaurant. Since my mom was visiting me in the city, we decided to have lunch with my brother and his wife at Guevarra's By Chef Laudico. Guevarra's By Chef Laudico is located in San Juan and half an hour away from the Airbnb that we rented. It is a big old wooden house that has been converted into a restaurant. Inside, it was very spacious. Top Dishes to Try For me, the three best dishes to try were the Roast Beef, Lechon, and Kare-Kare. Reservation I recommend reserving a seat online as there are a lot of guests even on weekdays. Schedule It's best to arrive before the buffet is open so you can pick a strategically located table (near the food). Lunch 11am-2pm Maagang Salu-Salo 5pm-7pm Dinner 7:30pm-10pm Breakfast 7:30am-10am (only available on Sundays)  Late Lunch 2:30pm-4:30pm (only available on weekends)  Service The service wa
