How to Borrow Load from Globe Through Globe's GTSOS 3733

Have you ever wanted to borrow load from Globe? This post will tech you how to borrow load from Globe.


This is how Globe's text message introducing their new service began.

It continues: With Globe's Text Emergency Service, send an important text when you need it!

Here's how it works: Borrow 3 texts to Globe/TM valid for 1 day + P1 load. Register by texting GTSOS to 3733. P4.00 will automatically be deducted upon your next reload.

When I got this message, I got very excited. A lot of times I find myself without any load (cellphone credits) and needing to send an emergency text. Yes, I'm one of those people who wait until I have zero cellphone credit before reloading my phone.

Imagine you didn't track your cellphone usage and suddenly find yourself without any load. You could text your mom or friend to "load" your phone but you realize that you don't have a single peso left on your phone.

Wouldn't this service be very helpful in a situation like that?
If you read Globe's text regarding this new service, it does sound like it is targeted for people who find themselves in this kind of situation. However, what I found out when I tried this service was that you STILL need to have cellphone load in order for you to avail of this service. Whether you need more than one peso was something that I wasn't able to check.

Still, it would be better if this service could work even though one has zero load. Globe could make the service only available for phone numbers that are in existence for more than one year or for phone numbers that load regularly to be on the safe side or to avoid fraudulent use of this service.

Update: Apparently, you can now borrow load from globe even with zero load. Thanks Globe!

Basically GTSOS is a service wherein globe users can borrow load from Globe and pay it a a later time.

Here are some questions that you might have regarding Globe's GTSOS.

Can I register to GLOBE/ TM promotions (such as unlimited calls) after using GTSOS?

The answer is no. Upon subscribing to GTSOS, you won't be able to subscribe to other promos. However,  you can still register to GoSakto and the redemptions in my MyRewards (like Sulitxt 15, and etc) along with GTSOS.

When does your GTSOS load expire?

Your GTSOS load expires after 24 hours.

How to unsubscribe or stop GTSOS?

Unfortunately, one can't stop or unsubscribe from GTSOS. To stop receiving texts from GTSOS, text GTSOS STOP or GTSOS OFF and send it to 3733.
TEXT GTSOS STOP or GTSOS OFF and send it to 3733.

    i'm trying to register to the other promos but then 8888 replies that i'm still registered to another promo, I remember using GTSOS last night and I think that was the promo interrupting my registration and I can't cancel or unsubscribe it, it's pissing me off. I have to wait until its 24-hour validity expires. :(

    yep. there's no option to unsubscribe. plain stupid. you use this promo to ask load from someone else. in the end you cant use the load to register unless you wait 24 hours

    Argggh. I just can't register to any Globe promos after subscribing to this helpful yet stupid promo so I had no choice but to use my load as "regular" one. >.< Thus, 8888 repllies "Sorry, you are using another offer that cannot be used with Globe Prepaid's UALL15. Kindly wait for the current subscription to end or unsubscribe from your current registration to be able to register to UALL15. To register again, text UALL15 to 8888. Thank you!" It annoys me a lot!

    Worst case! what to contact for this complain? - the last time i used it, they took 21 of my 25 balance instead of the P4 which i loaned.

    If you call globe to complain, it'll use up the regular credit that you have which adds up to this annoying 24hr expiration of this service. 3 free messages + 1 regular load to expire that long. Great. Just great. :| -chloelen

    I also registered in gstos (may 8) after awhile i got my load and was able to text my bf so that he could load me 25 pesos so that i can subscribed to ALTXT20. What i did is i changed my date to (may 9) to finish the 24hrs of GSTOS then tried to subscribe to ALTXT20. It did work =)

    Yes, this is really helpful. Kaso mahirap mag register and sometimes instead na P4 globe load lang ang ibabawas, nagiging more than P4. Sana they can fix this problem asap.

    Thanks for sharing this. I believe that Globe Telecomm make this promo for those people who need to send text messages especially incase of emergency and disaster. It's a really big help for us. My only concern is that I hope we can really easily borrow globe load.

    As for me, GTSOS is really a very helpful globe promo because I usually use this for emergency. Emergency happens to me every time my unlitext promo expires. Though it's not a free globe load, I really love this nonetheless.
